Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has attended the opening ceremony of the 30th Summit of the African Union held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The theme of this year's summit is "Winning the fight against corruption: A sustainable path to Africa's transformation". The summit will deliberate on institutional reforms of the African Union, the state of peace and security on the continent, continental free trade and open airspace.
On the sidelines of the summit, Minister Asim has met his counterparts from Malawi, Libya and Tunisia and discussed issues of mutual interest and collaboration in various sectors.
