Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has concluded his official trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia after attending the 30th Summit of African Union.
During his visit to Ethiopia, Foreign Minister Asim held bilateral consultations with Ethiopia and other African countries on the sidelines of the summit. In this regard, the Foreign Minister met with Ethiopian State Minister For Foreign Affairs, Aklilu Hailimichael and discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations especially in sharing experiences in environment protection and tourism promotion.
Furthermore, Maldivian Foreign Minister met his counterparts from Tunisia, Libya and Malawi and discussed ways to strengthen future cooperation in areas of mutual interest and cooperation in multilateral fora, including at the United Nations.
