Police Service to uphold security and sovereignty of Maldives

Maldives Police Service has said it will continue to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country.

In regard to the ruling of the Supreme Court of Maldives, Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdulla Nawaz stated that the institution is undertaking measures and following procedures to act in accordance with the verdict. The Assistant Commissioner of Police called on all Maldivians to fully cooperate to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country.

Meanwhile, the Maldives Correctional Service has also revealed that it has begun to implement the ruling of the Supreme Court by following procedural steps.
