Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened 2 new ATMs in Addu city.
The 2 new ATMs are located at Gan International Airport and the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital, according to BML. The new ATMs are part of the USD 19.4 million investment programme of the national bank to expand banking services and financial inclusion across the country. BML said the new ATMs in Addu will provide customers with more options to withdraw cash, and have been placed in convenient locations.
The bank aims to support the banking needs of travellers and the many individuals and families who use the regional hospital, according to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of BML Mohamed Shareef.
Currently, BML has branches across all 20 atolls, with 34 self-service banking centres, 95 ATMs, 4 thousand 900 point of sale merchants and 230 agents established.
