Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim has stated that President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom assumed office in 2013, with a promising vision of bringing total solutions to all developmental issues faced in the country.
President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is a great leader who has always had a vision far beyond that of a normal citizen, Minster of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim said speaking on The Dialogue programme aired on PSM News. Health Minister Abdulla Nazim said such traits show the essential qualities in a leader who would lead a nation to new developmental horizons.
In this regard, the Maldivian Health Minister stated that President Yameen assumed office in 2013, with a promising vision of bringing total solutions to all developmental issues faced in the country and has broken the norm set by previous leaders in bringing vague and temporary solutions.

Shedding light on the development initiated by the Administration in the health sector, Minister Nazim said the establishment of the 25-storey Dharumavantha Hospital has opened numerous job opportunities and urged Maldivian youth to be more involved in the sector. Minister Nazim cited that ADK, Tree Top Hospital and other major hospitals established in various islands would join the race along with Dharumavantha Hospital to deliver maximum output to Maldives.
Continuing on, Minister Nazim refuted claims the tertiary level hospital established in Kulhudhuffushi as a failure and assured the Administration would keep its promise of operating the facility in the island. Minister Nazim called on all citizens to have faith and trust on the ability of the Administration to make the project a success. The Health Minister concluded by highlighting that peace cannot be prevailed through unrest and called on all citizens to abide by the true principles of the Constitution of Maldives.
