Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Dr. Mohamed Shainee has stated the administration has maintained the price of fish products at the highest possible rate.
Maldivian Fisheries Minister said the administration has been successful in maintaining the price of fish products while speaking at a programme aired on PSM News. Fisheries Minister emphasised that fluctuations of fish prices in the global market does not affect the Maldivian fisheries industry.
Minister Shainee assured the government will always maintain the prices even though previous governments have decreased the prices, noting the government exerts major efforts to enhance the fisheries sector and for the betterment of fishermen.
