Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has revealed plans to open a smoking cessation clinic, dedicated to supporting patients who are attempting to quit smoking.
The clinic is scheduled to be opened on April 7, according to Chief Executive Operator of IGMH Farhath Shaheer. He noted the clinic will benefit individuals who want to quit smoking.
The clinic, which will be operated by the respiratory medicine department of IGMH, will provide counseling, nicotine replacement therapy and consultation services. IGMH has conducted several training programmes for staff working in the smoking cessation clinic.
