United Nations office in Maldives has revealed a team of United Nations Political Affairs is currently visiting the country. The visit is to continue engagement with the government, political parties and civil society representatives in Maldives, according to the office.
The office revealed that the team of United Nations Department of Political Affairs includes Shin Umezu and Miriam Coronel Ferrer. The team will conclude the three-day visit tomorrow.
