State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has opened its apprenticeship for this year.
STELCO revealed the apprenticeship would pave way for selected students to pursue higher studies in electrical, electronics, mechanical and mechatronics engineering. 15 students would be selected for the apprenticeship this year, and would be provided with practical work experience, training progarammes and a salary, according to STELCO.
Such opportunities pave way for Maldivians students to pursue in engineering while staying in the country, Chief Executive Officer of STELCO Ahmed Zuhoor said in an interview with PSM News.
The application opportunity for the apprenticeship is open till April 10.
