Senior staffers of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee call on Secretary Bilateral

Staff to the Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programmes, Senate Appropriations Committee Paul Grove, and Senior Appropriations Advisor, Bureau of Legislative Affairs Paul Rademacher have met with Secretary, Bilateral at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel.
Secretary Bilateral and the Senate staff delegation had a successful discussion on the efforts of government in countering violent extremism in the Maldives and improving the overall security measures in the country. The discussions also focused on further strengthening the overall close bilateral relations between the U.S. and the Maldives.
