Maldives opens audition opportunity for its first International Quran competition

Maldives has opened audition opportunity to select a representative for the first ever international Quran competition in the country.
“Al Noorul Mubeen” is an initiative of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and would have a panel of international judges. In this regard, the panel of the international competition consists of 2 judges from Maldives, a judge from Pakistan and another from Sudan.
Centre for the Holy Quran revealed the application opportunity for the auditions will close on April 19. Only one representative from each country can participate in the competition.
The competition is held by the collaborative effort of Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Centre for the Holy Quran and Public Service Media (PSM).
