Maldives has opened opportunity to participate local movies in SAARC Film Festival 2018.
Maldives can contribute two short films and two feature films for SAARC Film Festival held from May 22 to 27 in Sri Lanka. Four individuals from each country including directors and artists can take part in the festival. The expense of the trip is fully covered by the organisers, according to the SAARC Secretariat.
Interested individuals from Maldives are urged to submit applications to National Centre for the Arts (NCA) before April 18. Rishmee Rameez represented Maldives in the festival and won Best Actress Award last year.
