President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has strongly condemned the recent attacks targeted towards Saudi Arabia, by the Houthi militia.
In a message sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, President Abdulla Yameen stated the news of the ballistic missile attacks targeted to the Saudi capital, Riyadh and over the southern areas, and the drones directed at Saudi Arabia by Houthi militia was learnt with great shock and anger.
Condemning the act of terror in the strongest terms, President assured firm commitment of Government and the people of Maldives, to working closely with the Government of Saudi Arabia and the international community in eliminating the global threat of terrorism.
Furthermore, President expressed firm solidarity with Saudi Arabia, in its efforts to restore regional peace and stability. President extended my personal best wishes for good health and well-being and the assurances of highest consideration, on conclusion of his message.
