Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed, the winter themed- park, developed in Rasrani Bageecha, will be opened by mid-June.
Speaking on a programme aired on PSM News, Housing Minister Mohamed Muizzu noted, the launch of the park was delayed due to the interruption in the process of importing some necessary equipment.
Noting that Rasrani Bageecha is one of the main projects of the Male' re-development plan, Housing Minister revealed the park will have a cafe' and all the expenses of winter theme park will be covered by the owners of the café.
Furthermore, Minister Muizzu said the decision to outsource the park was inspired by the need to arrange a means of managing the park, without burdening the state budget.
The winter park would feature snow and an ice skating rink for children.
