Civil service sector witnessing highest peak of development: Civil Service Commission

President of Civil Service Commission Dr. Ali Shameem has stated the highest peak of the development of the civil service sector was witnessed in during the current administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
Civil servants serve the country and the people and called on all civil servants to stay faithful to their duty irrespective of their personal political ideology, President of Civil Service Commission Dr. Ali Shameem said addressing the opening ceremony of the 3rd Civil Service Conference. Ali Shameem revealed the Civil Service Conference assists the civil service servants to modernise the services and works for the well-being of the civil service sector.
Continuing on, The President of Civil Service Commission highlighted the highest peak of the development of the civil service sector was witnessed during the current administration of President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom. On this note, Shameem noted the administration has reduced the working hours of the civil servants, along with increments in allowances and has successfully introduced affordable study loans specified for civil servants. He also highlighted special housing units are made available for civil servants at an affordable price.
In the ceremony, special recognition awards were conferred to remarkable services and products of the civil service sector. Maldives Civil Service Conference 2018 held at Dharubaaruge Convention Centre was held on "Reforming and Modernizing Civil Service."
