Maldives has held an Insurance Seminar for the Construction Industry. The Insurance Seminar for the Construction Industry is the second edition of the insurance insights seminar series initiated by Dhivehi Insurance Company Private Limited.
The construction industry has become one main sector of development in the past four years and spoke on the importance of formulating an insurance policy, Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim said speaking at the opening ceremony. The government will also work to enhance the construction seminar, assured Minister Thoriq.
The key focus of the event is to present industry stakeholders with an in-depth knowledge about specialised insurance products for the construction industry and how contractors can make use of the products to positively impact the cash flow and financial constraints, according to Dhivehi Insurance.
Expert Speakers from abroad provided guidance to attendees on how to move forward with the products to tackle the most pressing needs for all construction project related risks. The seminar also gave the opportunity to network with key industry players.
