Two women receive lifetime achievement award of WOB

Women on Boards (WOB) has conferred Lifetime Achievement Award to two women.
17 outstanding women received awards from different categories at the annual awards of WOB. This year, WOB Lifetime Achievement Award was received by Minister of State for Home Affairs Fathimath Sheereen Abdulla from public governance category and Sharifa Anisa Barakba of Malaysia from corporate governance category. The awards were presented by Minister of Home Affairs Azleen Ahmed.
The hard work of women for the betterment of the country, Home Minister Azleen Ahmed said addressing the function. Minister Azleen Ahmed said it is crucial to recognise the hard work of women for the betterment of the country. Minister Azleen highlighted the projects of government to empower women. Awardees of the ceremony noted the award empowers them to do more for the community.
WOB Annual Awards embraces the strength of exceptional working women. The non-governmental organisation was formed in 2015 to empower women and recognise the outstanding women in the community.
