Chancellor of Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has visited Ummul Qura University in Saudi Arabia.
Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Shaheem met the Rector of Ummul Qura University Professor Dr. Abdullah Bafel and other senior officials, during the visit to the university. The Chancellor gave a brief introduction of IUM, including its vision, mission and objectives, during the meeting. Moreover, discussions were held regarding providing support to promote Arabic language and contributing to academic activities.
Chancellor of IUM Dr. Mohamed Shaheem is currently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia on an invitation of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
