A delegation of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has travelled to China on an invitation of the Communist Party of China.
The delegation headed by Minister of Tourism Moosa Zameer consists of 18 members, including Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim and other senior members of PPM. Several meetings will be held with Communist Party of China on various topics, including sharing experience on governance, according to PPM.
In addition, PPM said information will also be shared on development projects conducted by the government and provide information on areas in need of assistance adding information on the tourism sector and other investment opportunities available in Maldives will also be provided to the Communist Party of China.
During the annual invitation trip, the delegation of PPM will meet with officials of Chinese Provinces and government officials. The delegation will conclude the trip on May 10.
