Chancellor of IUM praises Saudi Arabia on efforts to serve Holy Quran

Chancellor of the Islamic University of Maldives (IUM) Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has visited King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran in Madinah as part of his current visit to Saudi Arabia. During the visit, the Chancellor was briefed about the complex and its services and the stages of printing the Holy Quran.
After the visit, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem praised the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to serve the Holy Quran, stressing these efforts are appreciated by all Muslims in the world. Dr. Shaheem thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for the care of Holy Quran, the care for the interests and affairs of Muslims in the world and the services of the two holy mosques and the pilgrims and visitors. The Maldives stand with the Kingdom in all its decisions aimed at preserving the security and sanctities of Muslims, affirmed Dr. Mohammad Shaheem at the end of the statement.
Moreover, Chancellor of IUM visited Islamic University of Madinah.
During the visit, the Chancellor paid a courtesy call to the Rector of the University Dr. Haathim Al-Marzooqi. During the call, discussions were held regarding the activities that can be conducted as part of the memorandum of understanding signed between both universities.
Furthermore, the Chancellor requested to conduct special Arabic language programmes to the staff of IUM,and to provide PhD opportunities to the graduates of IUM.
