The Ambassador of UK to Maldives James Dauris has paid a courtesy call on Foreign Secretary of Maldives Ahmed Sareer.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Secretary and the Ambassador discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and on important global issues of mutual interest, including countering terrorism, climate change and human trafficking.
The Foreign Secretary was accompanied by Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shiuneen Rasheed while the Ambassador was accompanied by Second Secretary of British Embassy in Colombo Philippe Dickinson.
