Acting CP discusses partnership with Thailand Royal Cadet Academy

Acting Commissioner of Police Abdulla Nawaz has discussed partnership opportunities with the Thailand Royal Cadet Academy. The collaboration opportunities were discussed at the recent official visit of Acting Commissioner Police Abdulla Nawaz to Thailand from 10-11 May.
During the visit, Acting Commissioner of Police met with senior officials of the Thailand Royal Cadet Academy and widely discussed future combined training programs. During the meetings, Abdulla Nawaz enquired about the training opportunities available from separate sections like forensics and criminology and law enforcement.
Furthermore, Nawaz requested to include Maldivian Police force in the masters' programmes of Thailand Royal Cadet Academy in addition to training related to elections.
During the visit, both parties discussed on commencing an exchange programme to enable learning of the best practices of both institutions.
Thailand Royal Cadet Academy assured to provide assistance to Maldives Police Service in training.
