Honorary Consul of Maldives in Kathmandu Nirvana Chaudhary has said youth of Maldives and Nepal have a major and prominent role in strengthening the relationship between both countries.
Each individual has a key role irrespective of the designation or stature in enhancing the international relations between countries, Nirvana Chaudhary said in an exclusive interview with PSM News. In this regard, Nirvana Chaudhary highlighted that the assistance he provided to Maldivians in the 2015 earthquake in Nepal was his both professional and personal responsibility as supervisor of his family. Maldivian students have always being more like a family than a responsibility bestowed upon him as the Honorary Consul, according to Chaudhary.
During his visit, Honorary Consul of Maldives in Kathmandu Nirvana Chaudhary called on Vice President Abdulla Jihad and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim.
Nirvana Chaudhary was first appointed as Honorary Consul of Maldives in Kathmandu on November 13 in 2012.
