Ministry of Economic Development has decided to hold a programme to issue on the spot vehicle license to youth. Economic Ministry revealed youth can complete the theory and practical from the same area during the programme.
While the programme is scheduled to start this month, arrangements to fill license form, take pictures needed for the form, stamp and payments will be made, added Economic Ministry.
Moreover, Economic Ministry stated the programme is open for people of all ages even though the programme is focused for youth between 18 years and 35 years.
Regarding the programme, Deputy Minister Abdulla Mohamed noted the government initiated such a programme to minimise the youth violating the transport regulations and to encourage youth to abide by the laws.
The programme decided to conduct in all parts of Maldives, it will first be held in Male'.
Economic Ministry stated dates, time and venue will later be announced.
