President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has conveyed his condolences to the family of Former Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari, upon his passing.
The late Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari passed away in Sri Lanka after suffering from a stroke; he was 55 years of age.
Dr. Abdul Majeed Abdul Bari was Maldives’ first Minister of Islamic Affairs and he was also the first head of The Institute of Holy Quran.
