Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM) Ibrahim Khaleel has said Maldives Media Institute (MMI) together with Limkokwing University will conduct diploma level courses in Maldives.
As Maldives keeps developing and evolving at high speed, the media sector should also grow with respect to the latest technological advances, Managing Director Khaleel said speaking at the graduation ceremony held by MMI for Maldives Police Service. However, Khaleel noted MMI is doing an excellent job fostering youth to pursue in media career while encouraging them to achieve successful paths in media career. He affirmed the courses provided by MMI will be the best level courses available throughout Maldives in the field of media and communication.
In this regard, a total of 4 courses will be conducted by MMI in August.
One of the main aims of PSM is to expand a wide media platform in Maldives, Deputy Managing director of PSM Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef said speaking at the ceremony. Furthermore, Ikram added Limkokwing University is one of the best universities in the region and MMI would collaborate to conduct different courses for Maldivians. In addition, he highlighted MMI will be developed to organise courses at international levels.
MMI will become the first ever media training institution in Maldives which will conduct international level courses.
