Islamic Ministry represents Maldives in religious lecture in Morocco

Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs Sheikh Ibrahim Ahmed has departed to Morocco to represent Maldives in the religious lecture, Al Dhurusul Hasaniyya, which is scheduled to be held in Casablanca, Morocco.
The religious lecture attended by Moroccan King Mohammed VI is a programme held with the participation of religious scholars across the world. The lectures of the programme focus on pillars and origins of Islam, solving issues and establishing peace in the country along with countering extremism.
The religious lecture programme is an initiative of former King of Morocco late Hassan II commenced in 1963. The programme is attended by royal family of Morocco and foreign dignitaries of different countries.
