Dhiraagu TV has signed as a distribution partner of PSM World Cup Coverage 2018. The agreement was signed by Deputy Managing Director of Public Service Media (PSM) Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef and Chief Marketing Officer of Dhiraagu TV Ahmed Maumoon.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Ikram noted Dhiraagu is one main partners in the advancement of PSM. Noting the aim of PSM is arranging ways to broadcast World Cup matches to all citizens without any fee, Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Ikram said the partnership with Dhiraagu TV will enable to broadcast to a broader part of the population. Highlighting broadcasting and re-broadcasting licenses are issued within laws, Mohamed Ikram advised to refrain from reporting false news.
Meanwhile, Chief Marketing Officer of Dhiraagu TV Ahmed Maumoon assured to cooperate with PSM in delivering a complete world cup show with the engagement of public. Ahmed Maumoon said PSM has never failed to arrange a World Cup coverage participating citizens adding that Dhiraagu TV believes it is important to assist in delivering the coverage.
To deliver world cup matches in high definition quality PSM has distributed its high definition signal of TV Maldives and Yes TV for the entire country. PSM has in various occasions urged all cable TV operators to access the signal and allow the citizens to enjoy world cup matches.
