Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has assigned Public Service Media (PSM) to install LED lights in Greater Male' region. At a ceremony held, the agreement was signed by the Deputy Managing Director of PSM Mohamed Ikram Abdul Latheef and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Housing Ministry Mohamed Mahid Shareef.
Speaking after signing the agreement, Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Ikram stated latest developments, contemporary images must be seen from across Male' City. Contemporary scenes will be shown on LED panels installed in various parts of Male', assured Ikram.
Moreover, Ikram revealed that LED panels will be installed in areas of public interest noting that six or seven LED panels will installed in the first phase of the project. Installation of LED panels will commence within this week, according to Ikram.
Meanwhile, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Housing Ministry Mohamed Mahid Shareef highlighted the importance of delivering information to the public stating the LED panels will enable to deliver information.
PSM has initiated installing of LED walls in Male', Vilimale' and Hulhumale', which makes up the region of Greater Male' under its effort to educate, inform and entertain the public as mandated by Public Service Media Act.
