Foreign Minister meets President of JICA

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohamed Asim has met with President of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Shinichi Kitaoka, at the JICA Headquarters in Tokyo.
During the meeting, Minister Asim and President of JICA exchanged views on various programs steered by JICA in the Maldives and on future collaboration between Maldives and JICA.
Minister Asim noted with appreciation JICA’s programmes as one of the most successful programmes that have contributed to socio-economic development in the Maldives.
Foreign Minister Asim was accompanied by Secretary Bilateral Ahmed Khaleel, Ambassador-designate of Maldives to Japan, Ibrahim Uvais, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Ahmed Fazeel, Director, First Secretary Adam Hamid, and Second Secretary of the Embassy of Maldives in Japan Mohamed Thahseen.
