President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim have exchanged Eid ul-Fitr greetings with the public. Following Eid prayers at Islamic Centre, President Yameen and First Lady arrived at Rasrani Park to exchange Eid greetings with the public.
Rasrani Park was decorated on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr where special refreshment and gifts were exchanged. More than 3,000 people gathered at Rasrani Park to exchange Eid greetings with the first couple. It is noteworthy the President extended the allocated time frame in order to greet all the people gathered there.
A large number of residents of the Greater Male' Region visited the Rasrani Park where President and First Lady exchanged Eid greetings with the public. The President and First Lady greeted a large number of the public; including children, state officials, state dignitaries, diplomats and senior government officials.
