Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) has held Maldives Youth Leaders Dialogue and Pre-summit Youth Meeting. The meeting was held to prepare youth representing Maldives in South Asian Youth Summit (SAYS).
The pre-summit of SAYS consists of several sessions, focusing on topics to empower youth and their leadership skills. One session held, the Maldives Youth Leaders Dialogue, focused on ways to solve the social issues with dialogue. The session also highlighted using technology in solving particular issues in the society. The pre-summit is participated by a delegation of International Youth Committee (IYC) led by its chairman Dr. K.K Singh.
The main aim of holding such a summit is to solve issues within the society by dialogue and empowering youth to become successful citizens, President of RAFY and Vice President of IYC Aishath Rafiyya expressed speaking with PSM News regarding the summit. Moreover, she added the Maldivian delegation participating in SAYS expects to defend the Best Country Award.
