President inaugurates Thulusdhoo harbour

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has inaugurated the harbour of Thulusdhoo as part of Male’ Atoll tour.
The harbour is 800 feet long and 300 feet wide. The harbour also has a 110 metre revetment and 290 metre outer seawall. The project of USD 2.6 million, partly funded with loan assistance from Islamic Development Bank (IDB), and the rest from the state budget was contracted to Senok Trade Combine Limited of Sri Lanka in November, 2015.
The administration is working on bringing an all-inclusive development to the Maldives where nobody is left out, President stated addressing the function held in Thulusdhoo. The President emphasised the important role of the youth in deciding the nation's matters stating the youth population should know that hard work is the key to the development seen in Maldives today. The President also advised the youth population to take lessons from it.
Moreover, speaking in this regard, the President stated the hope of Maldivians has been revived as a result of the efforts of this administration during the past 4 years and noted with appreciation that all Maldivians recognise the work being done by the administration. He assured the public that his administration will strive to achieve and fulfil the needs of the people in the future as well. Shedding light on the developmental projects, President Yameen stated these ventures will not be projected to a certain area of the population and that it will be reflected on the whole country.
Furthermore, the President urged the public to bring forth national harmony, and not one's own agenda, and to instil peace in the country while pressing for progress.
During the visit, the President was accompanied by cabinet ministers, parliamentarians and other government officials.
