Maldives Media Institute (MMI) has decided to extend the duration of the education expo held in collaboration with Limkokwing University of Malaysia after the support and recommendations gained from the youth. A large number of youth are visiting the expo and applying for courses offered, stated Director of MMI Mohamed Jinah, adding MMI has therefore decided to extend the expo until June 30.
During the expo, opportunity is opened to apply for courses offered by MMI and courses offered in partnership with Limkokwing University. The courses offered by MMI include courses related to radio television broadcasting, performing arts, videography, animation, and sound and music.
The courses held in partnership with Limkokwing University include hair dressing courses and TVET courses for dress making. The courses offered in the expo will be subject to discounts.
Furthermore, the participants are offered opportunity to experience different contents of the courses offered at hand and a lucky draw will be held among the participants. The prizes to be won include two return tickets to Chennai, dinner for two at Bandos Island Resort and scholarships.
