Pakistan mango festival commences in Maldives

The embassy of Pakistan in Maldives has successfully concluded Pakistan Mango Festival in Maldives.
During the festival, Maldivians got the opportunity to taste and see the different varieties of mangoes cultivated in Pakistan, according to the Embassy of Pakistan. The mango festival was inaugurated by CEO of Maldives Pension Administration Mohamed Hussain Manik.
The festival will strengthen the relationship between the two countries and also assured to conduct more such activities in the future, Ambassador of Pakistan for Maldives Vice Admiral Retired Wasim Akram said speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival. Meanwhile CEO of Maldives Pension Administration said the festival is a golden opportunity to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries and congratulated Pakistan for holding a successful event for Maldivians.
The participants of the festival described the festival as a new and a tasteful experience. The festival held from June 29-30, was initiated by the Pakistani Embassy in Maldives, in collaboration with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and Ministry of Agriculture of Pakistan.
