The youth forum held to strengthen and to increase the role of the youth in the community has concluded successfully. The forum was the fourth of its kind, which was initiated by Ministry of Home Affairs in 2015.
Total 50 youths participated in the two-day forum where youth were informed about outstanding leaders among our ancestors and about the sacrifices they made to uphold the independence and the Islamic values in the country. Moreover, information was given about the values youth have to follow to become leaders of the country.
Furthermore, Maldives National University, Ministry of Home Affairs and Dhivehi Language Academy presented informative Power Point presentations regarding the role of the youth in the community.
The main aim of the forum is to make youth leaders in the country and the support from the youth for this programme increases by each forum. The participants described the forum as an enlightening mean to a better future.
