Statistics has shown 73% of the participants from the rehabilitation programme held by National Drug Agency in the past 6 months completed the programme successfully.
In an event held by the National Drug Agency to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, National Dug Agency introduced an application, Client Management, to monitor and attain information on the participants of the rehabilitation programme. Moreover, the agency also released a statistics book about the participants of the rehabilitation programmes held in the past 6 months.
Speaking in the ceremony, Chairman of the National Drug Agency Colonel Dr. Ali Shahid Mohamed revealed 45kg drugs have been confiscated so far this year. Moreover, he suggested public cooperation is needed to make the efforts of the agency successful.
