The Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa of Maldives, Robina Patricia Marks has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Asim.
At the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry this morning, Minister Asim and Ambassador Marks exchanged ideas to further reinforce the strong bilateral ties and cooperation between Maldives and South Africa. Minister Asim and Ambassador Marks exchanged views on further enhancing the existing ties especially in the areas of trade, investment, tourism and other areas of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Asim was accompanied by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fathimath Inaya and Director at the Ministry Abdul Waris Saeed.
