6th RASCF of Asia Pacific commences in Maldives

The 6th Regional Aviation Security Coordination Forum (RASCF) has commenced at the equator village of Addu City in Maldives. The forum is held each year between member countries of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) to discuss on the challenges faced in the sector and to share the latest technologies and strategies used by the countries regarding aviation security.
Speaking with PSM News, Regional Director for Asia Pacific of ICAO Arun Mishra stated innovative measures and experiences will be shared between the counties, and the member countries will learn a lot from each other during the forum. Participating in such forums will result in the enhancement of aviation security in Maldives, according to the Aviation Security Command of Maldives.
A report compiled during the forum will be presented at the Asia Pacific Director Generals of Civil Aviation Conference held in October in Fiji.
