In addition, the bill also states privatisation board must finalise the board of PSM 10 days after the names are sent to the board. Mohamed Ismail said amendments were proposed as important points of relevant laws were not included in the Public Service Media Act, adding the amendments will further enhance the management of PSM.
The parliament is responsible to appoint members to the governing board of PSM, according to the act. Public Service Media Act was passed by the parliament in 2015.
