Minister of Defence and National Security Adam Shareef Umar has stated the services provided to the public by the ministry and its institutions have improved throughout the years.
The public appreciates the efforts of the defence ministry, Minister Adam Shareef noted in the opening remarks of the review meeting on the strategic action plan. Moreover, the minister showed his gratitude to the staff of the ministry for the support and services provided to the public. To implement strategic plans, discipline and attempts to provide fast services are extremely important, according to the minister.
National Disaster Management Centre, Aviation Security Command and National Counter Terrorism Centre falls under the portfolio of the defence ministry.
