Civil Service Commission commences 3rd Executive Training Programme

Civil Service Commission of Maldives has commenced third Executive Training Programme for civil servants. Executive Training Programme for Maldives Civil Service 2018 is a training held under an agreement between China and Maldives to enhance the human resource of Maldives. The training programme held jointly by Chinese Academy of Governance and Civil Service Training Institute will focus on topics such as human resource management and performance management.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Executive Training Programme for Maldives Civil Service, President of Civil Service Commission Dr. Ali Shameem highlighted the relationship between China and Maldives are strengthened day by day. Dr. Shameem also noted the opportunities provided by China to civil servants of Maldives.
Meanwhile, Political Councilor of Chinese Embassy Yang Ying also spoke on the relationship of China and Maldives, adding the construction of China Maldives Friendship Bridge proves the strong bond between the two countries.
The third Executive Training Programme includes training programme on accelerating performance management system in civil service, workshop on enhancing human capital and lecture on strategic leadership built and road initiative.
Over 220 civil servants are attending the training programme, according to Civil Service Commission.
