Women in Management Maldives (WIMV) has conferred Woman of the Year award to the First Lady of Maldives Fathimath Ibrahim in recognition of her efforts in empowering women. First Lady was conferred the award at the Professional Woman and Career Awards ceremony held at Hotel Jen.
Dedicated to the success of women, WIMV is a chapter of Women in Management Sri Lanka; uniting Maldivian women professionals and entrepreneurs through a unique networking platform, leveraging their skills into global success.
First time in Maldives, Professional Woman and Career Awards recognise women who inspire others with the successes in career, business, and everyday life. The award ceremony this year conferred awards in three areas including merit award, recognition award and gold award.
Five winners will be nominated to Top 50 Professional and Career Women Awards 2018 to be held in Sri Lanka, according to WIMV.
