WAMCO relocates the waste transfer station of Hulhumale'

Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO) has relocated the waste transfer station in Hulhumale'.
WAMCO revealed that the waste transfer station located at the southeast side of Hulhumale' has been relocated to the northwest side near the city hotel developed by State Trading Organization (STO). Moreover, all the services will be provided as before even though the site has been relocated, according to WAMCO.
WAMCO was initially formed in 2009, and then later revived in 2015 with a mandate to provide a sustainable waste management solution throughout the country. WAMCO officially began waste management operations in Male' region on January 1, 2018.
