Maldives has welcomed the second outlet of Australia's famous coffee brand, Gloria Jean's Coffee.
While the first outlet of Gloria Jean's Coffee is located in water pavilion at Rasfannu, the second outlet of the franchise was opened at the departure terminal of Velana International Airport (VIA). The outlet was opened by Managing Director of Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) Adil Moosa.
Addressing the function, Managing Director Adil Moosa stated the company exerts major efforts to develop its services and introduce new services desired by the passengers. Noting the Gloria Jean's Coffee outlet is the beginning of the many more outlets to be introduced, Adil Moosa revealed an outlet of UK's franchise brand Costa Coffee will also be opened at the airport.
Furthermore, Adil Moosa spoke on the development brought to the airport to meet the increasing demand for the airport. Adil Moosa said upon completion of the airport expansion project, new franchises will be introduced.
Gloria Jean's Coffees is a franchised specialty coffeehouse company that has opened more than 1,000 coffeehouses across 39 markets worldwide, including over 460 outlets in Australia.
