Opposition must research development efforts of government: Environment Minister

Minister of Environment and Energy Thoriq Ibrahim has advised the opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to gather information of the developmental efforts of the government before visiting the islands as part of the presidential campaign. Environment Minister Thoriq made the comments following a pledge by the opposition candidate to establish sewerage facilities in Veymnadoo of Thaa Atoll.
Despite the pledge made by Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the government has already initiated a project to establish sewerage facilities in Veymnadoo. The environment minister urged the opposition to acquire information about developmental projects conducted by the government.
