Government of the Maldives has held a pedestrian day on Sina-Male' Bridge for citizens of all ages.
The walk was attended by children and people with special needs, school students, uniform bodies and representatives from islands and atolls along with the First Lady of Maldives Fathimath Ibrahim, who was accompanied by cabinet members and parliamentarians.
The walk began near Dharubaaruge convention centre and ended at the Hulhule' end of the bridge. The walk saw the participation of many people dressed up in traditional dresses. In addition, traditional and cultural activities were held during the walk.
