Department of Higher Education (DHE) has opened application opportunity for scholarships granted to Maldives by Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT).
Thailand's SIIT has granted one full scholarship from bachelor's degree, two partial scholarships from bachelor's degree which includes six courses from bachelor of engineering and three courses from Bachelor of Science. Eligible candidates are only those who have served Maldives for a certain period of time, if they have previously received a government grant or scholarship, according to DHE. In addition, DHE revealed the candidates must not have any outstanding student loans.
Under the full scholarship tuition fee and educational support fees will be granted while the partial scholarship will cover 50% of tuition and educational support fees, according to SIIT. DHE has opened until September 13 to apply for the SIIT scholarships.
