Dhiraagu, Parley and MACL organised care for the Oceans Coastal Clean-up

Dhiraagu in collaboration with Parley Maldives and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) have collected 1.5 tonnes of plastic waste from the west side of Hulhule'. The event named "Care for the Oceans Coastal Clean-up" was organised as part of the International Coastal Clean-up Day 2018.

Participants cleaned an area of more than 1,200 metres. Dhiraagu noted the main aim of the initiation is to aware the public on the negative effects of plastic waste to the oceans. Meanwhile, the waste collected have been handed over to Parley Maldives to recycle.

The clean-up activity was attended by volunteers from Centurian, Divers Lodge, Moodhu Bulha, Divedesk and Dive School.
