Minister of Foreign Affairs Maldives Dr. Mohamed Asim has sent a message of felicitations to Minister for Foreign Affairs of Chile Roberto Ampuero, on the occasion of 208th Independence Day of Chile.
In the message, Foreign Minister Asim conveyed warm greetings and sincere good wishes to the government and people of Chile, on behalf of the government and people of Maldives. On conclusion, the foreign minister also wished for further progress of the people of Chile.
Chile proclaimed independence from Spain on September 18, 1810.
